Mostafa Negm / Greg Cooke / Jontey / Stan SB

Mostafa Negm remix of Paradise...best I've heard to this date.

Here's one for those who think dubstep always has to sound like a chainsaw factory. It's always a shame when classics get ruined but this is fucking sexcellent. The original is such an epic composition and for me on a level with some of Jeff Buckley's stuff. This is Greg Cooke's best release since that remix of the Barcelona track which received quite a bit of acclaim...this deserves it too.

I've embedded mostly dub pieces recently when liquid drum and bass/electro house is my thing. It's not because I'm going off it but there haven't been a huge number of great releases in the past few weeks. Feint released a moleman collab. yesterday and apart from some sick vocals it lacked any depth or ingenuity with it's bass. Here's an older track by Jontey who shares his name with an obviously closet homosexual antiques expert off my favorite tv show cash in the attic...siiick moo

Finally quick bonus preview of Stan SB's new track in the genre of "Stanstep". He's mixing some dub, dnb and jungle themes into it and the result sounds like it's going to be amazing (I've updated the house page with some of my classic favorites if you like that)...

Jantsen / Technicolour / Hiatus & Shura

Got a bunch of tracks I'm going to post over the next few days. I'm gonna mix up the genres so here's an eclectic electro mix with some dub, dnb and chill(er). First off Jansten with a clip of 'when the beats drop' that he previewed a few weeks ago. This track made me get up and leave the library, shot some people with my dubstep pistols on the way out too. Check out Jantsen's soundcloud for more of the same. The Bidgood Brother & co were boasting (on full vol.) about their Palatinalps set downstairs so we dropped this through the roof

Huge release off Spearhead Records from Technicolour. Great label with exciting artists like BCee and N3GUS. Great build up and bass. Used to love the Technicolour/Komatic collaborations...

Something a bit more relaxed from Hiatus and Shura now. If you listen to my soundcloud then you will have heard a track on there recently from Hiatus. They create some amazing ambient chillout music and Hiatus does his own interesting pieces too. He was playing in Camden very recently which is a shame as would have gone if I was in London. "First", which I embedded on lolnado is one of my favorite tracks of all time. Here's the music video of their most successful song...he doesn't cut her up with a chainsaw but that's what I thought was going on

Livewire / Vital / Netsky

Forthcoming on SA Digital, the same label that released that liquicity endorsed Dimension track in December, 'waiting for you' - Livewire. It's going to be a huge track when it's released in February. Tantrum desire vibes running through it and all...

I usually make it a rule that I won't embed mrsuicidesheeps picks but seeing as he just got his main channel restored after all the copyright bullshit, it's a good time for an exception. Defining future garage in 2012? Yer. Remix of Frou Frou by Vital...

I was playing through some music with a friend last night and decided this is in my top three dnb tracks of all time at the moment. Never embedded it on the old site so definitely want it up. Classic moosick from Netsky...

My mate just discovered you can get FL studio app on the I-Phone. For those of you who don't know FL studio (Fruity loops) is widely regarded as the best software for creating electronic music. Me wants it precious. Here's a link to some filthy dubstep I came across on beatport...it's not going to be everyone's cup of earl grey but if you're feeling naughty:  (Doesn't begin for 40 seconds or so for some reason) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8QBUS19Hb8

Deekline & Ed Solo / Klaypex / Breeze Block / Rameses B

Finally got around to doing this...Sorry for the wait. I've now linked with a soundcloud where all my favorites/saved promo clips will be. Link is on the right hand panel. Got a mix of tracks to post today...some break, dubstep, and drum and bass. First off here's two new releases from Deekline and Solo, both remixes of Benny Benassi's "Beautiful People". The first ones a junglistic/break beat take with some ragga vocals and the second is dubstep. Love both equally and the vinyl artwork is sick

Only discovered Klaypex very recently but love what they're doing. This is a remix of an Ellie Goulding track which even some of my staunchly anti-dub housemates liked.

Not been a huge fan of quite a lot of the liquid dnb being released at the moment despite it being one of my favorite genres. There's been quite a few duds from even the biggest producers over the last few months in my opinion. However I heard a few of Breeze Blocks tracks recently and they have restored my faith. Absolutely incredible producer...head over to his soundcloud and listen. This track "you knew me before" reminds me of Sencae's "Put your hands" which is another epic track...

Last but not least, an entry into the DJ Shadow competition by Rameses B. It didn't even get runner up but was one of the best.
